SOCIAL WORK TECHNICIAN - DIALYSIS

Your role as liaison between patients and community agencies/hospitals is vital to the success and enhancement of our comprehensive health care delivery system. Responsibilities:

Assist social work staff in providing concrete services to renal dialysis patients.

Assists patients/families with referrals to community agencies, hospital departments,

transportation arrangements, and billing and insurance inquiries.

Maintains records, statistical data, and provides clerical support to the social work staff

 

Experience and Education:

Associate’s degree or equivalent experience with one year experience in the health care setting

Analytical and interpersonal skills necessary to work in an interdisciplinary patient-staff community environment

Organizational skills to manage high volume workload.
