- Figure 3. The equation describing the relationship between
VDP, Qb and Hct was first derived by curve-fitting VDP and Qb data
for each Hct, using an equation of the form VDP0 = A_Qb2 + B_Qb +
C. The mean of coefficients A = 0.00042. Coefficient B varied
significantly with Hct. Linear regression yielded B = 0.62116_Hct2
+ 0.01203_Hct + 0.12754. The mean of the Y-intercepts C = _17.32.
The adjusted coefficient of multiple determination, R2 = 0.99982,
indicates an excellent fit to the data.
