DIALYSIS NURSE MANAGER

Positions available in our  in-center, and * acute  dialysis  settings.

 

Responsibilities:

Ensures comprehensive, quality care for the patients on dialysis.

Participates in the recruitment and hiring process of new employees.

Organizes and implements educational programs for patients and staff

Monitors all aspects of  the dialyzer reuse program including quality improvement.

Coordinates actions and interventions resulting from the quality improvement meetings.

Coordinates and submits statistics to the Renal Network as required.

Monitors inventory and reuse reports and participates in preparation of the annual budget.

Ensures the quality and appropriate operational oversight of the home and acute programs as assigned

* Responsible for care given to patients in the acute care settings

 

Experience and Education:

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing

Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Michigan and/or Ohio.

Previous supervisory experience required preferably in dialysis.

Minimum of 12 months nursing care experience and an additional 6 months experience in providing care to dialysis patients.

Previous medical-surgical or critical care experience preferred for the acute programs.
