DIALYSIS  STAFF EDUCATOR

 

 

Responsibilities:

Trains, orients, and evaluates clinical staff in all aspects of hemodialysis.

Communicates with supervisory staff regarding orientee performance and administers required exams.

Provides lectures to non-clinical staff on clinical aspects of hemodialysis

Administers materials and oversees the process of clinical staff competency

Assists with CPR certification of unit personnel.

Provides assistance in mandatory and/or special inservice requests

Maintain own professional education and knowledge of current issues in field of nursing and dialysis.

 

Experience and Education:

Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.

Have two years  of experience providing care to dialysis patients
